Poem: Timing

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Timing is every thing and no thing.
I’m referring to the pause…
between the T and the ING.
A timeless catharsis
That slips in and out of consciousness
While your soul seeps out your sneeze.
Relax, don’t worry, just breathe.
Timing is the very thing and not thin gravity
Posted against a stucco wall until it falls.
It slows down when you rush

Poem: The economy is like a comedy

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

The economy is like a comedy
Calmer than it really ought to be
Laughs and jokes
Corporate Ego’s getting poked
Brokers getting smoked out
Countries talking ‘bout token friends
Businesses mergin’ and
fakin’ synergy
Just to eat up another smaller company
P&G, GM and GE (Have you heard of them
Got to start restructurin’
Mass collaboration or mass destruction
Innovate or die is what they say

Definition of Networking

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Networking is a web of insight,
A strand that fights with all its might
Until other strands come closer to unite.
One strand can hardly stand an offset breeze,
One thousand can create support the others need
To form something beautiful, something we can see.
Tangibility and transparency of our internal frailty
Strengthened by welcoming criticism and openness
may be the only way [...]

Why women aren’t funny

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

This is a thorny issue. You may find it hard to believe but several Stanford University School of Medicine grim-faced professionals have been doing research about into it. Their conclusions are the following:
